Call to order - @7:33pm

Reading of minutes waived.
Treasurer's report - $1,442.57 with no major expenses coming up.
The raffle prizes for March were provided by Jan and Jerry Keith. Dan Lelak won a beautiful frog statuette rain gage for his wife, Carol, and Jim Stacy won a battery operated fluorescent safety and work light.
Old Business:
Cruise nights - will be held at the same location. Bill Brown has arranged for Morgan
Sellers to be the DJ for the entire cruise season. The club will have to supply the table.
Bob Bryant is in charge of the April cruise night - he hopes everyone will attend.
The club is still looking for a Cruise Night Director to help with cruise nights and getting
raffle prizes.
Club outing to the Varsity - Bob Bryant said due to construction and the area of the
downtown Varsity (mainly safety reasons), the outing will switch to the Town Center
Varsity on 3/30/03 at 1:30pm. He still wants to meet at Whitewater Park by 1:30pm and
head to the Varsity as a group.
Dues for 2003 are due NOW - if you have not paid yet, you will NOT be receiving the
April newsletter.
NEW Business - Bill Brown read an advertisement from Dan Walden concerning the sale
of his 1957 car: I have a Matador Red 57 2 dr hardtop for sale:
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 dr hard top. Matador Red with red interior. If you are looking
for a show quality car, read on. This no-rust, no-bondo car has had 2 frame offs in its
lifetime, the latest completed in 1994 resulting in a near perfect combination of beauty and
power, and only 9000 miles have been put on it since then. The 350 ZZ3 crate motor has
been enhanced with three 2 bbl carbs mounted on an Offenhauser manifold. A K & N air
filter is enclosed in a custom aluminum housing designed to complement the Edlebrock
valve covers. Custom HPC coated Hooker headers dump in to a custom 3" exhaust system
which connects to dual Flow Master mufflers. The Hurst shifter mates to a hand built
Muncie 4 speed that transmits power through a 3.70 rear end. Traction bars enhance the
effect of launching from a standing start. Other goodies include the Walker radiator, front
discs with a dual master cylinder, serpentine drive belt, complete wiring harness, Mallory
ignition, bucket seats from a 64 Impala SS, and Cragar mags. This car is as clean
underneath as on top, and has won many trophies for its previous (1986-2000) owner
including being judged best of paint at a CCI event and being awarded 963 points at
another. It was featured in the December 1997 issue of Chevy High Performance
Magazine (copy available), and has not slacked off a bit in its appeal since then. You are
delusional if you think that you can build your own to these standards for this price!
